Our History

Our practice has been serving the Fremont community since 1948. The practice was opened by Dr. Paul Todd, who later transferred ownership to his son, Dr. Robert Todd, who continued his father’s legacy while integrating advancing eye care technology into our well-established and respected practice.

In 2011, Dr. Robert Todd transitioned the practice to Dr. Amy DeVries.  In 2012, Dr. Laura Schindler joined our practice, which continues to be recognized for comprehensive care, thorough patient education, exceeding expectations in our knowledge and quality of care, high ethical standards, and remaining at the technological forefront of our profession.
